Walk, Talk, Connect: Transform Your Event with Netwalking
Netwalking is a simple, energising way for delegates to step outside, stretch their legs, and enjoy meaningful conversation while walking. It perfectly complements your conference or event by adding a refreshing burst of fresh air, movement, and connection to the day.
In an era where events are packed with back-to-back sessions, full agendas, and long periods of sitting, netwalking offers something different: a natural reset for both body and mind. It blends wellbeing, connection, and creativity in a way that indoor networking can’t match. By stepping outside and moving, delegates shift into a more open, energised state and one that encourages clearer thinking, genuine conversation, and renewed focus.
And yes, you can grab one of our delicious bento boxes to take along for the journey, just speak to a member of the team via sales@horizonleeds.co.uk to book this in.
Why add netwalking to your event?
- Boosts wellbeing: A short walk provides a healthy break that reduces stress and clears the mind, helping participants return to sessions refreshed and more focused
- Encourages natural conversation: walking side-by-side feels relaxed and opens a conversation. Ideal for relationship building, mentoring, or collaborating.
- Re‑energises delegates: Netwalking provides a refreshing change of pace and scenery, helping to combat overload and fatigue.
- Inspires creativity: Movement has been linked to enhanced creativity, and many people find that their best ideas emerge while walking. Fresh air and changing scenery naturally stimulate new thoughts, perspectives, and solutions.
- Strengthens connections: shared walking helps people bond, and walking together creates an easy, low‑pressure way for delegates to get to know each other.
- Creates inclusive engagement: ideal for those who thrive outside formal settings. Not everyone thrives in formal networking spaces, which can feel intimidating or overly structured. Netwalking provides an inclusive alternative.
- Enhances your programme: With short, clear route options starting from Horizon Leeds’ front door, it’s a high‑value activity that requires minimal organisation
- that elevates the delegate experience
