Horizon Leeds was created from an internal need for a venue which had state-of-the-art technology, a wide variety of rooms, and event services and packages which could be tailored to the needs of individual events. So how do we achieve this?

When you hold your event in a hotel space, there will always be something else going on in the background, as guests come and go, and staff need to dip in and out of your event. At Horizon Leeds, there are no such difficulties, our team’s sole focus is fully on you. Our team are very dedicated and has the time and capability to create the perfect event for you, as well as having an infectious passion for the events industry. We don’t use agency staff, so from your event manager right down to the caterers, everyone involved in your event will be familiar with the venue, as they work there regularly, as opposed to hotels, where sometimes agency workers will turn up to the venue an hour before the start of your event.

You’ll also have a designated event contact who will be on hand and onsite to assist you before, during, and after your event. From our small but mighty Engage@ space, which is the perfect room for meetings, creative sessions, or an office away from home for up to 8 people, to the impressive Create@ space, which can hold up to 200 people and the very latest in AV technology, you’ll find the right space at Horizon Leeds.

We have 3 Create@ spaces for larger events and with the ultimate in technical capabilities, there’s no reason not to use these spaces for larger events. Meanwhile, our Inspire@, Think@ and Engage@ spaces are perfect for smaller events in a space that can be perfectly tailored to all of your needs. All our rooms are designed for a specific purpose and are perfectly set up with corporate events in mind. If that wasn’t enough, we also have our standalone Broadcast Studio, which is a state-of-the-art studio that can accommodate up to four speakers live in the studio at one time and endless numbers off-site. Seamless transitions throughout your event from speaker to panel or presentation will be overseen by dedicated on-site technical support supplied by Firefly Audio Visual Solutions as part of the package. The studio consists of three LED screens so content, speakers and audience can be shown at the same time, whilst the chair can be guided through the event via two comfort monitors.

We can accommodate any size of party perfectly and offer a variety of different event setups in each space, so whether you’re hosting networking and nibbles, training your staff in the latest technology, or presenting a new direction for your organisation, we can create a space that works perfectly for your event. Because we are a bespoke events centre, there are very few restrictions on what we can do about branding, so you can impress your delegates with a fantastic branding experience.

We pride ourselves on our flexible approach and our ability to tailor our services to your needs, as well as our easy-to-work-with staff and ability to adapt and change at a moment’s notice to help ensure your event runs smoothly.

Catering That Impresses

One of the reasons many people choose a hotel for their event space is that they know they’ll get high-quality catering from a kitchen that is well-equipped to deal with large orders. What they don’t know is that at Horizon Leeds, we partner with specialist caterers Catering Yorkshire, to give our delegates delicious, hearty food with our Yorkshire flair!

Catering Yorkshire are experts in creating amazing dishes for any occasion. Like us, they understand that bespoke food makes for the best experience. With flexibility high up on the agenda, Catering Yorkshire can help put together menus that fit the needs of every single one of your delegates, such as gluten-free options, and vegetarian and vegan or dairy-free meals. Alternatively, if you would like to theme your menu to link with the focus of the conference then the team is happy to work with individuals to achieve their vision for a truly immersive experience.

Whether you need an early morning pick me up with our breakfasts, a quick snack with some nibbles, a relaxed buffet or a show-stopping sit-down dinner, at Horizon Leeds, we can provide you with catering that fits your every need.

However, what happens if something stops working in the middle of your event or you suddenly decide you need an additional mic or two? At Horizon Leeds, we invest heavily in our AV systems to really set us apart from the crowd. With state-of-the-art technology to show you and your brand off, VR and AR capabilities, as well as high-quality audio capability, including catch boxes to help get your voice heard, our tech options are second-to-none!

We also have a team of AV specialists on hand to help make sure that everything runs smoothly for your event, and that there aren’t any technical hitches mid-presentation.

We know that virtual and hybrid events are here to stay, and Horizon Leeds have embraced this change with open arms. Our variety of hybrid packages which cater for simple streams as well as dual audio and visual communications options and LED walls which really give the wow factor. One of our key aims is to ensure we speak to all clients pre-contracting these packages so we can ensure that they are receiving the best product for their events.

Then we have the wonderful Broadcast Studio, imagine a newsroom with a Horizon Leeds twist. Catering for up to 4 presenters, the studio has been the backdrop for many international communication pieces.
