Technology’s role in ensuring people stay connected.
Having to close our doors over the past few years to delegates has been heart-breaking. However, following COVID-19 and our experience with the 2015 Boxing Day floods, we knew that this didn’t have to be the final word. Our solution was to work with our highly experienced AV partners at Firefly AV to create a virtual and hybrid studio, which would allow clients in key worker sectors to stream live content to their audiences.
Although the demand has now returned to in-person events, today, a blended approach, including a broadcast studio set up, is hugely beneficial and an integral communication tool for many organisations. This is why we’ve rebranded our Virtual & Hybrid Streaming Studio to the Broadcast Studio and given it a permanent home at Horizon Leeds. Ensuring that, whatever your sector and whatever happens, we’re ready when you are!

So how can our Broadcast Studio be used?
Our state-of-the-art Broadcast Studio can accommodate up to four speakers live in the studio at one time and endless numbers off site. Seamless transitions throughout your event from speaker to panel or presentation will be overseen by dedicated on-site technical support supplied by Firefly Audio Visual Solutions as part of the package. The studio consists of three LED screens so content, speakers and audience can be shown at the same time, whilst the chair can be guided through the event via two comfort monitors.
We can make the software work for you as conference content can be delivered live or as a pre-record. With multi camera set up, earpieces, control room and professional level sound and lighting equipment, our event planners can help you deliver a fully branded event in confidence in our award-winning venue.
