Spotlight on Think@: Our Business Meeting Venue

When you think of board meetings, you think long, drawn-out days in a small conference room with harsh lighting and uncomfortable chairs. 

Luckily, we do things a little differently at Horizon Leeds.

When we first designed the space, we asked our end users for their say, they asked for a space to use as a crisis or strike action room where cross-site communication is key, others wanted a fit-for-purpose boardroom that didn’t leave you feeling cooped up. 

The result? A room that feels comfortable, stylish and luxurious, coupled with top-notch nutritious food and delicious bean-to-cup coffee. 

Small but mighty, this boardroom was highly commended and won the best boardroom or small meeting room in the CHS awards.

What’s included in Think@ 

This business meeting room holds 50 in a theatre layout, with wireless presenting, video conferencing, split screen technology, integrated ceiling speakers, comfy leather seats, all with a beautiful cityscape view. 

The most exciting part of the space is the technology. This business meeting room is equipped with wireless presenting, a 75” Plasma TV with split screen functionality, integrated ceiling speakers, plus a feed to Freesat news channels for those all-important updates. 

Topped with comfy leather seating and a beautiful cityscape view, it’s the perfect backdrop for planning and strategic sessions. 

What type of events can you host?

Think@, like all of our modern meeting rooms, has had many uses, from a ‘pub quiz’ style breakout and kids’ play area to market research spaces and chill out zones. But here are a few more common uses:

• Board meetings, small workshops and training sessions: It’s what Think is made for, with clients coming back time and time again for the space, and the superb customer service.
• Private Dining: An intimate space to extend board meetings to a more informal dining setting where your team can enjoy city views over a three-course meal whilst reflecting on the day’s business.
• Annual General Meetings: Think perfectly fits 50 delegates in a theatre layout, so it’s a great space for multi-site link-ups with members across the globe.

What can a day in our Think@ room look like?

You start the day with a fresh coffee and perhaps something tasty from our healthy breakfast range to help you settle in one of our plush leather chairs, ready to take on a morning of business planning and strategy. 

By lunch, you’ve worked up an appetite, just in time for some top-notch, healthy lunch food options. From freshly prepared sandwiches, savouries and salads, all topped off with delicious desserts, to prepare you for an afternoon of meetings and bottomless coffee.
